Fixing Glue

Adhesive for Hydrophilic Waterbars

Fixing Glue provides fast and strong adhesion of HydroBar Original and HydroBar Evo to concrete and steel substrates. The fast skin formation and curing allows concrete casting after only a few hours. Fixing Glue is completely weather resistant once cured.

Fixing Glue can easily be applied with a standard caulking gun. For optimal adhesion, the glue must be applied on the full contact area of the HydroBar.

After gluing, press the HydroBar down briefly to ensure full contact.

Application of Fixing Glue

No primer is required when applying Fixing Glue on a clean surface (either concrete, plastic or steel).

For the best adhesion, a solid, clean, dust, oil and fat-free surface is recommended. If required, cleaning with acetone or isopropanol is recommended.

Optimal adhesion is achieved when the full contact area of the HydroBar is covered with glue.

After gluing, the HydroBar must be pressed down, to ensure full contact with the Fixing Glue beneath it, thus achieving optimal adhesion.
